2022 Mexican Open Schedule | Order of play today

The first round of the Mexican Open continues today with a host of big names jostling for position in their first matches of the tournament.

1 seed Daniil Medvedev takes on the enigmatic Benoit Paire in his opening clash as the top seed of the ATP 500 event.

The Russian star is closing in on Novak Djokovic – who is currently competing at the Dubai Tennis Championships – at the top of the ATP world rankings and could overtake the Serbian in the coming weeks if the results fall on him.

Beyond Medvedev, defending champion Alexander Zverev and Rafael Nadal are among the top contenders at the Mexican Open along with Stefanos Tsitsipas, while No. 6 seed Cam Norrie is in action hoping to give UK fans something to enjoy.
