PARIS: Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime made his top 10 debut in the ATP rankings released on Monday after reaching the semi-finals in Stockholm.
Beaten in the quarter-finals by his compatriot Denis Shapovalov, Auger-Aliassime, 21, is ahead of the Italian Jannik Sinner in 10th place.
Shapovalov, 22, climbed four places to 14th while American Tommy Paul, whose Stockholm victory was his first on the ATP Tour, dropped from 52nd to 43rd.
Serbian Novak Djokovic is guaranteed to finish the year at the top of the standings. The Russian Daniil Medvedev is second and the German Alexander Zverev third.
